| Tiivistelmä: | As a newly evolving discipline,cash management has grown considerably over the 1970s. It embraces the whole spectrum of business activities,from strategic planning to operations. It is central to overall organizational performance. A model for projecting financial statements,including the changes in financial position statement on a cash flow basis,is presented. A number of methods - accounting and finance,statistics,distributions and information transformation - used to prepare daily cash forecasts are discussed,and a number of planning and operational computer models identified. |
