| Tiivistelmä: | As more and more of yesterdays technophobes join the global information society, there are increasing opportunities for employees to misuse electronic communications. E-mail offers instant communication, but brings with it a potential minefield of legal problems. In the US it is estimated that 80 per cent of organisations use e-mail, and by the year 2000 almost one billion messages will be sent every week. Given such levels of expansion, the importance of internal regulation of electronic communication should not be underestimated. |
