| Tiivistelmä: | The main idea of China's policy of opening to the outside world is to extend the opening territory and adjust the original layout. The strategy in the 1990s should be transformed from "inclining opening" to "balancing opening". That is, stress is still placed on the opening of the eastern costal areas while at the same time, speed should be quickened in opening the middle and the western areas. Such forms should be taken as taking an active part in the international division of labour at different levels and in various forms and joining the various international economic organizations. |
