| Tiivistelmä: | Public sevices represent the largest part of the employed in the activities 12 and 13.These are the new institutional forms introduced by the Law on Services. Services differ from the business companies in the economic goal that is for services not the profit but supplying of services.In the environment where the operating conditions are getting equal for private entrepreneurs and other owners the services as well have to operate in a businesslike manner.Their competitiveness can be based on a better quality, levelling of quality and on gaining new purchasers. The governance in services is focused on the assuring of the quality of activities, on supplying the services in which the rights are determined as public services and on operating within the limits of resources.In the public services the gaining of governing and management skills is even more important as directors are usually first of all the experts in a particular profession. |
