| Tiivistelmä: | The system of pension and disability insurance in Slovenia must be reformed.There are a lot of reasons which demand its changes.Among them there prevail numerous weaknesses inside the system itself, too heavy burden of income for its providing (which is gradualy going to become unsustainable if not changed) and demografic movment of the population.From the short term aspect the reducing of rights should be done in the established system to reduce the implicit debts and abolish the most severe ineqalities.This is also the time for making decisions regarding medium and long - term reform which should gradually bring about the establishment of the second fully - funded pillar and possibly the third one in order to provide the pension system in future. |
