| Tiivistelmä: | Swiss National Bank switched lately from targeting of narrow monetary aggregates (M1 or monetary base) to targeting of broad monetary aggregates. Empirical literature still adheres to the former praxis. The paper tries to fill this gap by developing a money demand function for M3 using feedback models. Several feedback specifications are presented and contrasted for Switzerland covering the 1967-89 period. |
