| Tiivistelmä: | Perestroika has proclaimed the transition towards the market economy. But this transition is inconsistent and slow because there's no clear concept of the overall process. After examining the current trends in the USSR, the article presents three scenarios for the development of Soviet society: Polish scenario or shock therapy, Yugoslav scenario or the left-centrist version, and the third version presents alternatives for a non-market development. |
