| Tiivistelmä: | As a part of its efforts to come closer to Europe, Switzerland has approved a product liability bill, which, after the expiration of the referendum deadline, was enacted as of 1st January, 1994. In the main, it is based on the "EU-directive concerning the liability for nonconforming products" of 25th July 1985. |
