| Tiivistelmä: | With the usual instruments of capital budgeting it is often difficult to furnish proof of profitability of investments in environmental protection. These investments are questioned, but the doubts are based less on comprehensive calculations than on vague and emotionally driven estimates. In addition to the development of new capital budgeting techniques, the application of well-known methods can help to enforce a decision in favour of environmental projects. |
