| Tiivistelmä: | The study examines the relationships between extent of video display terminal usage, perceptions of the physical work environment, task characteristics and workers' health and well-being among a group of 1032 female office clerical workers. The findings suggest that technology is related to a variety of job factors and health. It became clear that automated office technology is associated with an increase in stressful working conditions and with lower job satisfaction. |
