| Tiivistelmä: | Energy, economics and the environment are interdependent. Land, water, atmoshpheric and biological resources are being degraded by current high energy consumption. US energy consumption is the highest in the world and it should be reduced by one half to help restore the quality of the environment. Because of the interdependence of energy, economics and environment, energy efficiency and transition to renewable energy sources are critical. The development of the use of solar energy is necessary. |
