| Tiivistelmä: | Econometric models of energy sectors are estimated on a regular basis to provide national policy-makers with a framework for evaluating past developments and formulating future energy policies. This study models energy consumption in the residential, commercial, industrial and transport sectors of Florida. Own-, cross-price and scale elasticities are estimated for major energy types. Twenty year forecasts are presented to show how projected relative price changes can be expected to further alter final energy consumption and total /primary/ energy consumption. |
