| Tiivistelmä: | This paper deals with the effects of financial integration (hereafter as: fin-intgr.) on macroeconomic volatility (here as: vol-y.) and welfare. Examined is a 2-sector tradable and nontradable, 2-country world economy with production in which both stocks and bonds are traded internationally, but markets are incomplete. The model predicts a non-monotonic relationship btw. the degree of fin-intgr. and the vol-y. of several macroeconomic variables etc. |
