| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper the Boston Consulting Group method for in- direct estimation of segmentrelated capital cost is analysed and developed further. Highlighted is first the quest for relevant capital cost with regard to (segmental) business risks, second the estimation of risk values both for seg- ments and the company, and third method adaption with and without regard to assessment by sales figures. |
