| Tiivistelmä: | This paper discusses the supply-side factors of tourism associated with production in the destination country. The authors suggest that there are parallels between tourism and international trade flows that are usually explained from the supply-variable perspective. Zhang and Jensen propose a simple model that renders support for the relevance of supply-side factors such as natural endowments, infrastructure and technology in explaining international tourism flows. |
