| Tiivistelmä: | Managers of enterprises have confidence in realizing the economic growth target for the year 1998 because the government has taken effective measures to stimulate domestic demand to promote economic development through macroeconomic control, such as increasing investment and decreasing interest rate etc.. But they have mixed feelings of optimism and pessimism about the state of operation in the enterprises. For instance, the figure of the suspended and partly suspended enterprises rose from 21.0 per cent in 1997 to 22.2 per cent at the corresponding time this year. In addition, the total social demand is relatively deficient. The managers' comments on these issues are as followed. |
