Tiivistelmä:Many Americans feel that unsolicited sales calls of the outbound telemarketing are invasion of privacy, and are urging legislation. The survey researchers are worried that the proposed 'junk' telephone laws won't differentiate between unsolicited calls for sales purpose and the ones for research purposes. So last year CASRO appointed a Telemarketing Task Force to look into this matter. CASRO has made efforts to formulate and adopt a more comprehensive set of guidelines for survey research firms.
