| Tiivistelmä: | The first-ever opinion research project commissioned by the British Trades Union Congress /TUC/ and carried out by NOP Market Research Ltd. focussed on the issues of privatisation and public ownership.The opinion research was seen to offer an extra dimension to TUC campaigning against privatisation. The technical details and main conclusions of the poll are described. A solid majority of the public continues to support the public ownership of essential services. |
