Tiivistelmä:The article presents three exploratory studies related to the antecedents of work addiction and work passion. The data were collected using questionnaires aimed at Canadian managers, Australian psychologists and Norwegian journalists. The authors disclose a pattern of results common to all the three studies: The participants with higher scores of passion and addiction invested more on their work. Those who scored high in passion were less obsessive about their work, more satisfied with their work and more psychologically healthy, while the participants with higher addiction-scores were more obsessive and less satisfied and healthy.
