| Tiivistelmä: | Rising inflation and decreasing GDP and industrial output are common characteristics of the post socialist countries in Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of the Independent States /CIS/. Financial and other aids from the Western societies provided so far are not enough or invested in the suitable form, and the economic troubles may disturb the political process of democratization in these countries. The only real result attained at the Munich summit is an emergency programme to improve the safety of the nuclear reactors in the CIS countries. |
