Tiivistelmä: | In the past decade, interim management appears to be a phenomenon of growing importance in Dutch organizations. Research based explanations for this increasing role of interim management in The Netherlands is hardly available. A commonly used, but one-sided, explanation regards the economic depression with all its organizational and managerial consequences. The authors pay special attention to societal and organizational factors. Besides that, they question the instrumental and 'macho'-way in which interim management is mostly treated. More complete and realistic insights in roles, possibilities, dependencies, management aspects and change processes are formed by using different images of organization. |
