| Tiivistelmä: | This paper discusses the threats, such as natural disasters and terrorist attacks, which global tourism industry faces. A study was conducted to investigate the perceived probability of occurrence, magnitude of threat and efficacy of official media on major types of risks from 1304 international travellers. This paper provides tourism practitioners and policy -makers and updated view from the perspective of travellers, which may help to formulate risk management strategies. |
