| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines job performance of hotel general managers (hereafter as: GMs) using benchmarking approach. A computer model is used to match similar hotels and this allows comparing one GMs efficiency to another. The approach takes into account the various operating environments GMs face and is useful in identifying the practices of most efficient GMs. It provides a score for each GM and gives guidelines for better allocation of resources. |
