| Tiivistelmä: | Tourism has offered employment opportunities to people who have been displaced from downturns in other sectors of the economy. This article reviews work motivation of those refugee tourism employees in rural areas on Vancouver Island, Canada. The results of factor analysis highlight the importance of lifestyle and entreprenourship as motivations to work in tourism. This study confirms previous findings that refugee explanation is not always valid. |
