| Tiivistelmä: | The reorganization of the production system in the sense of a factory within a factory for the purpose of serving a market in the most product-oriented manner opens up new ways to achieve the objective of customer-related production. The concept is purposed to eliminate wastage in the production area. It is shown how production segments should be identified and organized. The results of an empirical study are reviewed. Economic advantages of the reorganization of the production system on the basis of the proposed segmentation principles are demonstrated. |
