| Tiivistelmä: | The growing 'openness' of the world economy, fostered by trade liberalization programmes and the formation of various free trade blocs and common markets, together with the expansion of multinational companies (MNC's), has served to sharpen the competitive pressures facing UK companies in international markets. This article reports the results of a study of the foreign market servicing strategies of a sample of UK manufacturing firms in their attempts to advance and protect their international competitiveness. |
