| Tiivistelmä: | People are the greatest asset of an enterprise. Hence, one of the managers tasks is to effectively channel and guide such an important resource towards the goals of the enterprise.To achieve this as efficiently as possible the managers must know the individual characteristics of the employees and anticipate their behaviour in different future situations.In the paper the author first presents some of the major personality theories and continuous with the definition of personality traits that include the whole phychophysical system of man.She concludes the paper with the statement that certain types of personality are more suitable for individual occupations than others. |
