| Tiivistelmä: | Though its history is short, the information service industry is one of the sectors now drawing the keenest attention. After the late 1970s, the nation's information service industry attained 17-fold growth (on a sales basis) in 15 years. From 1992 on, however, there was a cloud hanging over the high-growth industry and it appeared to have entered a phase of stagnation. But this actually was a period preparatory to the structural upgrading of the industry and its fresh leap forward to cope with the advent of a new information age. |
