| Tiivistelmä: | Preliminary reports of the 1994 figures from the Ministry of International Trade and "Specific Service Industry Performance Survey ("conducted once a year on a company basis") - the only statistics available on the actual state of Japan's information service industry - indicate that the industry experienced extreme hardship as a result of factors such as cutbacks on investment in information technology by corporate end users. Annual sales were 6.1219 trillion yen, a 6% decrease compared to the previous year. |
