| Tiivistelmä: | The Bank of Japan (BOJ) has announced the Financial White Paper entitled "Trends of Finance and Economy in the Business Year 1995". This year's White Paper emphasizes that the "economic recovery in the second half of FY 1995 owes much to the effect of the state's financial and treasury policy," and analyzes that the direction of structural reform in the past few years has become more manifest. On the other hand, it points out that the pace of economic recovery will very probably be slowed down compared with previous ones in "view of the prolonged pressure for balance sheet adjustment of banks and other financial institutions and for adjustment of the industrial structure mainly in non-manufacturing businesses. |
