Tiivistelmä:Facing death can be a frightening experience for anyone. Although treatments continue to extend longevity, the USA rates of cancer and HIV infection that can lead to AIDS have not changed in recent years. And with managed care, you can expect more terminally designated individuals to be treated as outpatients, and choose to continue working. Although you may not have had to assist a terminally ill employee thus far, HR managers need to develop the compassion, skills and resources to assist such individuals, and their co-workers.
