Tiivistelmä:Originally posters were pieces of art, made up a "picture gallery for the people of the street", by now they have become effective means of advertisement. In Switzerland posters have now been newly invented, more attractive posters have been developed than before and the surface which is used for posters grows with 2-3 % per year.
