| Tiivistelmä: | By March,1996, there were 108 foreign financial institutions in the Pearl River Delta, ranking first in the country. Becoming an important component part of the financial system in the Pearl River Delta, the foreign banks have exerted important influences on the financial and economic development in this area. But at present, there exist many problems concerning the introduction of foreign capital. The introduction of foreign capital should suit the financial development and the reform of financial system in this area. A set of methods for measuring the foreign banks' management level, the actual state of capital, the mobility of assets, and the degree of risk, should be formulated. Besides, the management of industry's self-discipline and the deposit insurance system should be strengthened and established. |
