| Tiivistelmä: | The analysis of economic power is inseparable from the forms of concentration adopted by industrial groups. Three models of concentration ("diversified", "industrial chain", and "organizational") are presented. The role of structural characteristics of industrial groups is examined. The growing importance of technology in the last model is emphasized. These two elements result in new horizontal and vertical relations: horizontal involving the development of cooperation between groups such as new agreement procedures; vertical in subcontracting relations. These relations are illustrated with reference to the case of the French aerospace industry. |
