Tiivistelmä:Individuals are asked to compare self-ratings with ratings form other, bosses, peers, and customers. Not much attention has been to the relative agreement/disagreement between selfratings and ratings from others, and to the subsequent implications for organizational outcomes and human resource management. People who go through the self-other rating process generally fall into four categories: over-estimators ;under-estimators; accurate assessors who rate themselves favorably as do others; accurate assessors who rate themselves unfavorably as do others. Human resource managers may begin to foresee the consecuences for the organization and identify developmental needs, by looking at the process in this way.
