| Tiivistelmä: | In this article, the international product design award schemes are examined in order to find out how well they reflect the real competitiveness of the successful companies. A new qualitative analysis method was developed for the comparison. Four international product design award schemes were chosen among 22 for a closer look at the situation: the International Design Excellence Award (an IDEA), iF Product Design Red Dot Product Design and Japanese Good Design Award (JGDA). |
