| Tiivistelmä: | Nuclear Electric plc is a new company that is responsible for the commercial generation of electricity using nuclear power in England and Wales. The company is facing a significant challenge. It is under UK Government mandate to demonstrate the use of nuclear power as a cost-effective source of energy by 1994, and this must be levy-free by 1995. The paper addresses many of the issues involved in a complex object, and focuses on the challenges of selecting and implementing a system across 13 locations, each of which views its application requirements as unique. |
