Arcelor reckons, though, that its team's superiour sector knowledge makes it more effective at doing deals that enhance core assets, deliver synergies and boost shareholder value. "As an adviser in a bank, you never see what happens to the deals after they are completed. In a corporate, you have to live with all the positives and negatives", says Rama Ayman, general manager of mergers and acquisitions. |
