| Tiivistelmä: | Acquisitions and mergers of equals often fail to deliver shareholder value, mostly due to poor integration practices not allowing synergies to be created. This study presents an integrated model where the effects of key aspects are tested simultaneously with three included independent variables: the extent of planning and knowledge from previous acquisitions and knowledge from previous relationships. The model is to help managers prioritize their actions and select an appropriate time horizon. |
