| Tiivistelmä: | Recognition of the need for evaluation of the performance of the HR function is certainly not new but the current activation of it is. Pressure on managerial functions to demonstrate that they are improving performance and adding value to the business has been one reason for this. Benchmarking is a method widely adopted by many large multinational companies. Benchmarking always involves comparisons, which are normally undertaken with a view to identifying 'best practice' of others and to improving one's own. |
