Tiivistelmä:Criticism of human resource management ideology and techniques is that it emphasizes 'commitment' and 'integration' to such an extent that it ignores 'conflict', and that its emphasis on individual employee involvement ignores the role of trade unions or other forms of collective representation of conflicting interests. Both support for and rebuttal of this view can be found in current studies of the subject, which often illustrate the impact of the culture, ideology and epistemology of the researcher as well as the researched.
