| Tiivistelmä: | This study attempts to develop a numerically-derived taxonomy of approximately 300 international joint ventures between US manufacturing firms and their non-US partners. This study has three objectives: to identify empirically observed joint venture strategies of firms participating in IJVs, to investigate the differential effect of each of these strategies on the performance of partners, and to investigate the differential performance effect of alternate joint venture strategies. |
