Tiivistelmä:Employees' perceptions, attitudes and behaviours are compared in two automotive supply organizations of similar size, technology and industry, employee characteristics and location. But they are different in formal management styles. The results show that rank-and-file employees' work-related attitudes, are more favourable in the organization using more democratic managerial style than in the traditional, hierarchical organizations.
