| Tiivistelmä: | The OECD developed recommendations regarding competition authority cooperation in the mid-1980s, but it was the decision of the EU and the US authorities in 1991 to establish an executive agreement on competition cooperation that set the standard for cooperation agreements around the world. The agreement has four principal parts: notification, conflict avoidance, action requests, coordination of enforcement. Cooperation agreements also exist between Canada and USA. The EU is negotiating agreements with Canada , New Zealand and Australia. |
