| Tiivistelmä: | This article provides commentary on the analysis of venture capital (hereafter as: v-cap.) in China (by Ahlstrom, Bruton, and Yeh: "Venture capital in China: Past, present, and future" in Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Sep. 2007). The article considers issues relating to the scope of v-cap. and private equity (as: p-eqty.), the nature of v-cap. and p-egty. organizations, the life-cycle process of v-cap. investing, internationalization, and foreign v-cap. firms. Areas for future research are identified. Compared is the Chinese v-cap. context with those in Western Europe and Central and Eastern Europe. |
