| Tiivistelmä: | The question as to how the 1992 European integration will affect the strategies pursued by European firms must be put today. Will the diverse economic sectors be affected differently given the particular structural situation of each of them? This question is answered by drawing up a description of the main competitive environments surrounding European companies. Two possible strategic reactions are studied in particular: restructuring and cooperation; the key role of managerial competencies to control change in order to implement these strategies is highlighted alongside with the new opportunities the European companies should exploit in their strategies. |
