| Tiivistelmä: | Economic integration in the Americas is now in its second generation. This article deals with the Plan Puebla-Panama initiative seeking to integrate Mexico economically with its Central American neighbours. There is a description of the plan with primary emphasis of the plan to build-up and/or upgrade the transportation and energy infrastructure to increase free trade and investment in the region. |
