Many complex techniques are available to rationalise existing practices but they invariably require sizable financial input to implement. The authors challenge us to insist on financial evaluation of all economic factors, including those previously seen as "intangible". Over the last 20 years the maintenance function, perhaps the more so than any other management discipline, has undergone significant change. |
