| Tiivistelmä: | The economic and technological co-operation in APEC is left far behind the liberalization of trade and investment. The barriers are: the insufficiency of the theory and practice in the economic and technological co-operation of the regional economic integration, its poor co-operational mechanism; the indifference of the developed member states and the constraints on the technological market. The paper proposes the following countermeasures: to arouse the initiation of the developed member states to carry on the economic and technological co-operation; to set up an effective mechanism of co-operation; to determine the focus of the co-operation in APEC; to enter the liberalization of technological trade into that of trade and investment and to reduce the constraints on the technological trade imposed by the developed member states. |
