Tiivistelmä: | This paper illustrates, in detail, the process of building theory from case data. It uses relatively novel "degrees of freedom analysis" -technique to statistically evaluate case data. The inductionally developed model of partnering relationships is briefly reviewed in light of former studies . Qualitative and quantitative techniques are used in investigating the partnering activities in manufacturer distributor -relationships. This paper shows some specific activities as manifested between manufacturer-distributor firms in partnering relationships and contrasted those to the activities of typical manufacturer-distributor relationships. |
